Congregational Update: October 24, 2025

Hi, Dear Family,

You're all invited! On Saturday, Oct. 25th, 2025, April Ziemer will be serving cake, cookies and coffee for Ross Smith's 99th birthday. This will take place at the Amery Area Historical Society from 10am-Noon.

Sunday: 

• Worship at 9am with CONFIRMATION and Sunday School.  Sunday School upstairs from 9-9:20am)
• 10am Choir, Coffee & Treats with the CONFIRMANDS. 
• Please pray for our confirmands Mateo Aizpurua, Eleanore Amans, Miles Hartmann, and Lila Schuh and their families as they prepare for Confirmation!

Wednesday: 

• 6-7pm 6-8th Confirmation @ Our Savior’s. Meal 5:30pm
• 6pm Hi League at FLC

Thursday: 

• 8am Bible Study  
• 8:30am Quilters

SATURDAY, Nov. 1st: Turn your clocks back an hour so that you can get an extra hour of sleep and then you can be wide awake for church in the morning, and not fall asleep during the sermon. : )

Sunday, Nov. 2nd ALL SAINTS DAY

• 9am Worship & Sunday School
• 10am Choir, Coffee & Treats

MARK YOUR CALENDARS! ALL AGES are invited to meet our ELCA Bishop (DISH WITH THE BISH).
Wednesday, Nov. 5th, from 5:30-7:30pm at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, and is guaranteed to be a great time.

• 5:30pm dinner
• A service project at 6:15 
• 7pm and Q & A with Bishop Martin Halom.

OUR CHURCH IN SOCIETY COMMITTEE in collaboration with Willows Foster Closet will again be collecting NEW PAJAMAS for Kids in foster care in Polk County. Toddler through adult plus sizes are needed. Please wrap them or place in a gift bag, tag it by gender or unisex, and state the size. THANK YOU!

LUTHER POINT BIBLE CAMP has just notified us that they have moved their Annual Meeting to Sunday, November 16th at 2pm. Is anyone interested in being our representative at that meeting?? Please let the office know as soon as possible and we'll let Luther Point know you're coming.
